A Tension!

Its human nature to feel desired, needed by friends, society, people. Its natural to feel the need for attention of others, because it makes us feel important and gives us some kind of undefined value to ourselves. What do people do to get this attention?

Some people just ask for it. They are very outspoken in demanding attention and do not miss any chance to make others feel that the world will not be a better place without them. Whether or not they actually are capable of doing a task, they will never stop bragging about how they could have done things in a better way than the others. Any charity they do, or if they helped someone, you will get to know about it without asking. You just cannot miss recognizing such a person around you.

Then there are people who after doing charity want to update it on Facebook/Twitter. Although they do not talk about it much but all they want is more likes. Actually Facebook/Twitter have taken the need of feeling important to a new level. I still do not understand the deep sub-conscious pleasure each Like on your pic brings or a retweet to your tweets on Twitter. Does it make us feel that we are better than others? In what way? Because we got more likes or retweets does it give an upper hand to us in social situations or professional? May be we have learnt to live with it without bothering for the answers.

At this point I would like to ask...myself. Selfie. Its very much evident that selfie is just an act or expression which demands attention of the world (once you upload it on a social networking site). Do you click selfies? Do you click selfies and look at it and admire yourself? Is it wrong to admire yourself? Apart from selfies, what are other ways to admire yourself? Can it be a smile you bring on someone's face? I do not know if its wrong or right. But should one send his/her selfies to others asking and expecting their good comments? How valid is that in feeling needed or to satisfy the hunger for attention? I do not know the answers. If you do please comment below!

The other kind of people which do not demand for any attention even when they actually complete important jobs or do some kind of charity or help others. They are okay if they do not get praised by others because it does not matter to them. They are okay if they do not get 100 likes or retweets and they just keep doing their job without bothering for others comments. Why are such people different from others? What else is satisfying their need for attention rather than someone praising them or liking their pictures/status? Again..if you think you know the answer do comment below!

I do not know in which category people like this belong to:

In this attempt to understand the need of attention by humans, may be I have raised more questions than trying to answer some. But I wanted to share it with you all to know your comments as well. Nothing more to write now..otherwise I will just raise more questions :)

Carl Sagan's Influence on Neil deGrasse Tyson

This video actually made me cry. Watch this very short video but the amount of impact it makes on your mind is huge. These are great people, and when they speak , you know what intelligence is. Imagine if everyone in the world is intelligent, unique, open minded and compassionate. People like Neil deGrasse Tyson , Michio Kaku, RP Feynmann, Carl Sagan, Bill Nye have raised the hopes for humanity and a better tomorrow by spreading the word of Science and rational approach as a new medium to think and act. Imagine where the world would be if every one starts thinking like them, in their own unique way.

When do we become conscious?

Everybody knows about consciousness. It's what we are, it's our soul, it's beyond our physical body and even the brain. We are merely the medium for brain to function and perform its action. Brain is its own being. So we can say that our consciousness is our brain's brain. Consciousness is that little voice in your head in which you are reading this text. It's always there, talking to you, thinking for you and even telling you what to do in split seconds before falling or accidents. Consciousness is the sense of good or bad even when experiencing a thing or feeling for the first time.

In an actual experiment to find out when does consciousness kicks in a newborn baby's brain, a newborn baby was made to smell milk first and then acetone. In former case of milk, the blood flow in baby's brain increased, showing more activity in vortex of his brain, whereas when he was made to smell acetone, the foul smell of the chemical reduced the blood flow in his brain. This means the new born baby has a sense of good and bad even before he opened his eyes and saw anything around him, even his own mother!

No other animal has consciousness, and only consciousness makes us human. Make good use of it.

The bigger question is what entity injected consciousness in humans and why not in any other creature on earth.

What makes people happy ?

Had a quiet peaceful walk on the beach now. I do this once in a while . It clears the noise out of my head and brings me closer to myself. I feel that I am living my own life and not someone else’s. It satisfies me. But I can’t call it as happiness.
As I was returning back walking, I saw couples, friends, even dogs engaged in some sort of activities, someone was smiling, someone was playing, people were laughing , hugging and enjoying the romance and some were just busy sleeping on the sand, all of them looked happy to me. I don’t know why. I asked myself, what do they have right now which I don’t have. Why am I not smiling ? And does an absence of smile on my face means I am not happy ?
I was happy. Very happy when I had a girlfriend. I had a purpose of life and it was only to make her happy in every possible way. Ah, even then I thought of ‘her’ happiness and not mine. But unfortunately she is not with me now, leaving myself for myself. But that has helped me achieved peace. Honestly life is really peaceful now.
But I do get my share of happiness in doing things like listening to my favorite band. Occasionally I will plug in earphones and headbang to the kicks and it takes me to another level . Such feeling is spiritual to me and I don’t relate that feeling only to God ( God? What’s that? ) . At that higher level, I actually feel adrenaline running fast and its difficult to express what I feel that time. Yes, that’s how I make myself happy.
Also the sound of my favorite bikes makes me happy. Royal Enfield, Rx100 , ooooh its just music to my ears :)
Yes it’s a weird ending to this post because its time to sleep and a good sleep is what makes me happy :)

Brain is a wonderful organ

This is just a personal description of one of the numerous wonderful aspects of brain. Its about love. The problem with reading and knowing too much about your brain is that , you know whats happening to you which is both good and bad. Good because if the event happening is harmful to you then you can probably try to do something to avoid the occurrence of that event. Bad because you can never live in peace and you are constantly thinking. I call it Brainception because the brain is constantly thinking what the brain is thinking or what it wants to think , and it goes on and on.
If the brain knows what it wants to know and what it wants to get, it will take over the small counter feeling in the back of your mind . Its very confusing because on one side you are aware of what you are going to think , and on the other hand you are also very aware of the small counter(opposite) feeling in the back of your mind . In some cases you want the counter feeling to take over and come forward but because brain is playing tricks on you , or I should say playing tricks on itself, it will keep both the feelings alive but will not let happen the thought you actually want to ‘think’.
So coming back to real thing, love. If i like someone, so I know alright there is this girl so my brain is obviously thinking about her and all. Back of the mind you know that you are not in love with her and you don’t even want to fall in love with her. But now when you have ‘stated’ it, your brain will start working on its counter that is YOU ARE IN LOVE WITH THAT GIRL. So the brain starts creating the illusion around you , makes you to think constantly about that someone and the big mistake we do is to perceive this illusion as the ‘truth’ and we end up believing that yes I am in love with her, when you are actually not.
I know its much of a too much and pain to analyse this love feeling inside our brain. I should not do it because I believe in going with the flow of the moment. But I believe it also gives me the power to win over this illusion and prevents me from going where I should not be going.
Brain is a wonderful organ :)

Without Clothes

Clothes are our identity, they make you what you are. Without clothes, bare naked us, we will be just another creature of nature, as we were made by it since the beginning. No race, no religion, no identity , no status, no class, no society,. naked kills all differences.…and humans are scared of that.
